Surprising Animal Behaviors
Which unusual animal behavior is used by sea otters to avoid drifting away while they sleep in the water?
Correct
Sea otters are the ultimate cuddle buddies of the ocean. To stay together and avoid drifting out to sea, they hold hands while sleeping, forming what is known as a raft. Tying tails would be a tangled mess that probably makes escaping predators impossible. Biting the ocean floor would lead to a very sore jaw and is definitely not a thing. As for the glue idea, otters are adorable, but they do not have built-in superglue dispensers in their paws.
