Surprising Animal Behaviors
Which unusual behavior do octopuses exhibit when they are feeling particularly grumpy or bored in their environment?
Correct
It turns out octopuses are the underwater brawlers of the ocean. Researchers have observed them using their tentacles to deliver a swift punch to unsuspecting fish, often for no other reason than they seem irritated or simply do not want the fish around. While octopuses are definitely masters of camouflage, they do not turn neon pink when moody, and while they are clever enough to manipulate objects, they are not really building gated communities or fortresses to hide from their neighbors. As for dancing, they prefer to keep things mysterious rather than performing for an audience.
