Atoms are mostly empty space, like a giant stadium with a tiny marble in the center representing the nucleus. If you stripped away all that vast nothingness from the atoms in your water, the remaining solid matter would be so incredibly small that it would essentially be a speck of dust, barely visible to the naked eye. The tiny mist is way too generous because you have removed almost everything! The solid cube idea is a fun dream, but the actual volume of the particles is far too minuscule to form something that large. Saying atoms are solid is a classic trick, but they are actually ghost-like structures held together by electrical forces, so you would definitely have a leftover speck of real matter to show for your effort.
